Why you buy real life Animals for easter??

SOURCES: PETA

I never have this experiences since i was raise in indonesia and quite religious family. Easter for my mom always base on the Bible value when we go to church and having a family dinner.

I am not a super religious person anymore.
But i prefer this tradition over buying real life rabbits 🐇  or duck 🦆 as a gift

Yes PEOPLE, some f Human buying Real
life RABBITS and DUCK as EASTER DECORATION OR GIFT!

i know easter is passed already but i just read about this now and it is pissed me off

Every year, breeders and bunny mills churn out irresistible baby rabbits and other small animals for people to put into Easter baskets on impulse. And every year, people realize after Easter that animals are a ton of work, which the breeders often fail to mention in the first place.
For example, rabbits chew nonstop (their teeth never stop growing), and they have special dietary needs (think less lettuce, more hay). They require constant mental stimulation and space to run around in, and they get depressed when confined to a cage.

For this reason, animals given as Easter gifts are often discarded. They’re dumped at an animal shelter, left alone in a cage outside, or simply turned loose in the wild—where they don’t stand a chance against starvation, harsh weather, and predators.
—animals are a commitment, not an impulse holiday purchase-and that animals should be adopted, never bought from pet stores or breeders.

Please... STOP THIS NONESENSE ALREADY!!
